OUTinDesign is an interior design firm that creates living places and dynamic spaces where design is a metaphor for wellbeing. Our holistic design firm specializes in renovation, design-build, and commercial restaurant and hospitality concept development. We take clients on a design journey towards realizing their vision for spaces in which to live, play, eat, and rest.

We design, remodel, build, and decorate residential and commercial spaces that incorporate elements from the outdoors indoors to make luminous spaces seamlessly connect. The common denominator throughout is a disciplined aesthetic that focuses on revealing the poetry in the most rational approach to space, proportion and light.

We specialize in delivering quality, experiential, tactile and interactive spaces and we are especially adept at optimizing small or awkward urban spaces in our “Highline Collection”, apartments in an urban setting. We love creating vacation homes by the water for extended families. We work with clients on residential, commercial real estate, restaurant, and hospitality projects in Northern Virginia, DC and the greater Metro Area, the Eastern Shore and Annapolis in Maryland, and the DC Beach towns of Lewes and Rehoboth. We’ve completed projects in Alexandria, New Jersey, New York, and abroad in Paris and the South of France.
